CMI is a Christian organization that exists to preach the Gospel of Christ to the nations, to disciple people into maturity, to equip the Saints for the work of ministry, and to be an agent of holistic community transformation to the glory of God.

Meet Our Founders
Ronald Nkuranga is the visionary founder and president of Christ Missions Impact (CMI-International) and the Light Gate Churches. After serving in the office of residence pastor, Ronald was officially commissioned into the apostolic work in the year 2022. He believes that his mandate is to mobilize, disciple, equip, and send ordinary people through whom the Holy Spirit will work in order to live out the Great Commission. Ronald is not only passionate about encouraging all of God’s children to get so involved in the work of ministry, but he strongly believes that the church of Christ must not delegate the responsibility of community holistic transformation.
In July 1994 after the Genocide that claimed over a million lives in just 100 days in Rwanda, Ronald came to Rwanda with his parents for the very first time. Over the years, he continued to serve Christ in different capacities in schools and local churches.
Towards the end of 2011, a vision to start a ministry in Rwanda was born through the Holy Spirit in Ronald’s heart. As he sought God’s direction in seasons of prayer, both Micah 4:1 and Acts 26-16-18 were given to him respectively.
After staying temporarily in the USA, Ronald and Rebecca were led to return to Rwanda to start the work of ministry. Ronald holds a business degree from Northern Kentucky University, USA, and is a trained Christian leader in areas of church planting, practical ministry, and Christian leadership. He is married to Rebecca and they are both blessed with three great children.
Rebecca Uwimana Nkuranga
Rebecca is an ordained Pastor and a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ who serves alongside her husband. She holds a degree in computer Engineering and is a trained family counsellor with a passion to see holistic transformation among women and children. Rebecca is a strong believer in building strong academic foundations for every child, including those with special needs.
Together with Pastor Ronald, they have been blessed with three wonderful children, and they all continue to minister the word of God in word and deed, to the glory of God.
